2020 Was A Year...
2020 was a year of silver linings. For many this was a difficult year, mentally, physically and financially. This pandemic has changed the way we live (maybe forever).
I feel grateful and blessed or what 2020 has brought - so many silver linings.
Here is where I am. The first few weeks, even months of the lock-down were hard. We had to rebalance and figure out how to adapt to the new normal. The lock-down made me slow down from constant movement, which until 2020 I never knew I needed to.
2020 has brought on a lot of changes for me personally. I have stepped back from many of my work responsibilities across the board to focus on family. I have learned to be in the moment and be present with the people that matter the most. It was a year of many more hugs, kisses and time with my kids and husband. It was time where I was able to reflect on what is important, practice self love and self care, learning to better support my husband and embrace what is truly important to me. Not to mention a couple big changes! A new baby girl on the way (yes, this makes number 4 ) and my home - we are now currently doing a full gut home renovation (will feature more on this in upcoming posts!).
For 2021 I continue to strive for balance, happiness and health. I set intentions not goals. Setting goals is fixated on the future, setting intentions keeps you grounded and present in the moment. Nothing happens over night. It is important to be in a continuum of where are you are today and where you want to be.
